About Us
The Society for the Rehabilitation of Special Children (SRSC) is one of the oldest local NGOs which has been caring for the underprivileged, special children of the city of Karachi. We work on complete rehabilitation of special children by working holistically on their physical, mental and emotional well-being as well as their special needs.
Our Core Programs
Our Centre provides full rehabilitation services to special children belonging to the underprivileged areas of Karachi. We believe that special children need to be helped in all areas, and we even provide their caregivers with the opportunity to stay with their children and learn how to better take care of them.
Vocational Training
At SRSC we believe that as our children grow up, we need to also prepare them to be able to support themselves in the real world. For this purpose, we provide vocational training to allow our children to develop their self-reliance. All our vocational training is specifically designed to improve their hand eye coordination and their confidence in being able to make things on their own.
Donate
SRSC has been made possible for all these years through donations from those who care about the most needy of our society. Our donors come from all walks of life, some have been donating to us for a lifetime. As a fully licensed NGO with recognition as a local charity by the government, all donations are tax exempt.
